How to disable F12 as the screenshot shortcut?
I have a 3rd party video recorder that I have binded (bound?) to F12 to start and stop recording. Every time I start a video the Steam Screen shot camera goes off, making a shutter sound and disrupting the beginning of my videos.

There is a field in which to change or disable that function, but even when it's set to "none", it still fires off a screenshot when I hit F12. None should mean none. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug on your end?

Open Steam then, (top left corner) Steam>Settings>In-Game.
There you can change the screenshot shortcut key!

Push and Hi @all...

With the new UI I cannot disable this hotkey anymore. In the textbox for the hotkey I cannot simly "delete" the F12. It just inserts Del. Or Backspace. Or anything I try to delete the hotkey.

Please fix this or give me any hint what you did there.
These annoying bugs are the common programming style nowadays, aren't they?!

And by the way... The new UI sucks just like any other "new and modern and hip" design (e.g. Adobe CC, Windows 11, ...). For example these sliders really have no advantages to the classic checkboxes. And the classic checkboxes are there in some menus anyway...
Please go back to the classic style. Thanks.
