Vote for the next set of games, not intuitive

Heya,

Previously voting for the Community Choice had always been picking one out of 4 games.
Thus I was wondering why I couldn't vote for either Van Helsing, 7 ways to die, South Park the Stick of Truth or Torchlight 2.

It turns out that the Community Choice voting has changed, and this time you are actually voting for one out of 2 sets of 4 games.

It is also not intuitive to click on "Vote on the next set of games" when previously you clicked on a radio button, then click on vote.
This time you click on that link and there will be a popup.

Could you make it more intuitive? Or even remove the idea of the popup and just display the sets of games on the page?

Ya i felt it wasn't very intuitive either. i did eventually "get it", but... it was confusing at first.

Apparently, you vote for the set of 4 that you are interested in.

This took me by suprise too. I acidently hit the correct button before I was able to figure it out. Then, I attempted to vote for the one game in the set of four. Had I known better, I would have voted for the other four.

Oh well... Guess that now means I will be ready for the next batch. :P

I like this better tho. get 4 deals every 8 hours instead of just 1.

I'd rather vote for 4 individual games than 4 in a set.

I'd also rather vote for the individual items. Ive seen games in both sets that I had to chose between :/

Yeah, you get 2 blocks of 4 games each, clearly separated, and the site asks you to vote for one set. Completely unintuitive.

It's /different/ than previous voting during previous sales in previous years... Normally you'd only vote for one game.

None of us said we "couldn't figure it out" we all eventually did... but it took a "second" for the new voting method to "click". It's a bit like if suddenly the ignition on your car was moved to the other side. It would take you a moment (or even a few /days/ to get used to the change). Because some things you sorta do on "auto pilot", so, when something is different from the normal course of action... it does take the brain a moment to "click over".

i'm sure to new people... who are experiencing a sale for the first time it probably is not confusing at all. But... if you are used to previous sales where you only picked /one/ game during a vote.. the change is a bit.. tricky at first, because you're looking to do it the "old way". Your brain is just looking to "blaze through it the old way".

That all may be true, but is it really worth making a fuss over? None of that makes the new system "unintuitive." It's just different from the last time.

Did confuse me at first as there was no vote button like previous events

I like voting for 4 it means more deals and that the games fit under a category
