Can you remove the blur from Library backgrounds?

Ever since a Steam update a while ago, game backgrounds are completely blurred out with only the logo staying as is. I don't like this change one bit and I don't see anyone mentioning it. Any way to remove the blur and restore background images in the Library?

I hate it too, but dont know how to change

go to your steam folder then appcache then librarycache (steam\appcache\librarycache)
there you can edit the jpg file of the game you want to edit,
example dota 2 game id is 570 find 570_library_600x900.jpg filename then edit it on mspaint
you can remove the blur or change the picture entirely
just remember to keep the 600x900 aspect ratio of the image

im having a different issue where setting custom artwork removes the blur from the library background whereas previously it wouldn't
