Can the Oculus Quest 2 play any steam VR game?
New to the vr scene and was wondering if the OQ2 can play all of steam VR games.

Probably not all. The biggest problem with the Quest 1 or 2 is the controllers are not natively supported on Steam, so that can mean they don't function as intended. Best to ask on specific game forums for experiences from people who already have tried playing the game with a Quest headset.

Further to that, whether you can use Air or Link will depend on your internet and/or the specific USB cable you try to use.

Does anyone have a link for a walk through to set up it all up?

Every one of my SteamVR games have worked perfectly with my Quest 1 and Quest 2.

If a game shows Oculus Rift as a supported headset, then it will work perfectly with the Quest 2. I haven't seen a VR game that didn't list Oculus RIft as a supported headset.

Something else to keep in mind with the Quest 2. Often when buying a game on the Meta Quest Store, you'll get both the Quest version of the game on the PC version of the game from the Meta Store if both versions exist. So keep that in mind.

Also I highly suggest buying Virtual Desktop from the Quest Store (not the Steam version). It has a ton of more features than what Airlink has from Meta, and its not unusual for many SteamVR games to perform or look better through Virtual Desktop vs the Airlink. The developer is still actively making it better, adding in more features too.
Thank you so much for taking the time to replay! This is exactly the straight answer I was looking for. So far I have bought Skyrim VR, Arizona Sunshine i already had Subnautica.

I don't have Virtual desktop but I downloaded SteamVR and have a link cable.

Ran a SteamVR benchmark and my pc handles it VERY well.

How many have you tried and which ones? The Quest controller (both 1 and 2 -- I have both headsets) never worked correctly in any of the Serious Sam VR games when I tried those. Neither did VR Kanjo play properly -- the ground would never set to the correct level (although that's probably not a huge problem given it won't be available for purchase anywhere after the 18th of this month). And the same with both Gal Gun games that support VR (again, controller problems). In fact, the only game I've played which didn't have game-breaking problems on Quest 1 & 2 is Half-Life Alyx.
