Also according to other threads some people are getting dodgy game listings for early access and such, showing either free to play games or not loading anything at all.
I honestly don't recall any other category there, so I am at a loss as to what it might be. I don;t check my store preferences daily, unless something really gets screwy, so I have no idea when that was added or changed.
Videos coming back?
Hardware? (Some folks got a bit salty about Steam Deck being featured on their store pages for a short minute.)
Gaming accessories/physical merchandise? (Think Valve/Steam branded gaming chairs, controllers, a new console, mousepads, t-shirts, posters/digital artwork?)
I can't think of anything else that might be added, and the new checkbox does seem to be a placeholder for some new category of product.
1. The new checkbox with the weird name was not meant to appear there, and should not anymore - just deployed the fix.
2. The filtered results in your search are due to more aggressive language filtering. We had reports from people saying they're seeing games that don't support any languages they understand (e.g. seeing Chinese only games for English speakers). We should now filter these out in discovery queue, recommendations and other places. For search specifically, we will now default language filters to your preferred languages and that's what's causing some games to be excluded. If you uncheck the English language filter in your search options, you'll see all of them (although you probably won't be able to read some of their titles).
