Roller Coaster Tycoon world
I Got the Game to run today.
My computer specs are 4770K
980gtx
Now let me begin by saying obviously my specs happen to be exactly the same
as the year that this game was released. Over the years I have played all kinds of games with this setup. and when it was new I got Roller coaster tycoon world for my computer. It ran good it was a early release of the game. I got as many as 4000 some people to my park. but I first realized that it took a long time saving after a 1000 people or so. So in order to get to 4000 people at my park I left the computer on.
Throughout time after this games release a tip was to never let cloud saves occur. So that is what I did by unchecking the little box for cloud saves. By rightclicking on the roller coaster tycoon game in the steam library and clicking on properties(it's in that menu where it gives one that option.
Over the years I also played other games. that required various stuff to make boot up. So anyway for the heck of it In placed a anticheat inside of the roller coaster tycoon world games folder that resides in the (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RollerCoaster Tycoon World) folder. That part is optional and I doubt that it has anything to do with the booting up of the game.

THE HELP TIPS STRATEGY: for rollar coaster tycoon world that is listed under the help tips for this game.....here on steam is in fact correct to make the game run.
I can't tell you all about it here but it had to do with
going under the "type here to search" and typing in.....regedit....and deleting all the data in the tycoon folder except the data listed as default. I DID THAT PART!
Then it says to go to user name blah blah blah!
who ever wrote that part of the tip was being crass or something.
Because desktops and laptops are not set up the same in such a way.
My desktop I type in %appdata% in the "type to search" bar and I get appdata's "roaming file" only not the "local low"....SOOOOOO!
What I did was type in appdata.....open the folder now I am automatically in the roaming folder..which I don't want.....so I go to the top of that window where it tells me I am in c:appdata or whatever I click on the empty part of that location directory bar and it changes the way it is written....so I deleted or backspaced the last part of that...the part that says roaming and then re typed in LocalLow and hit enter.
BOOM! I am in locallow's folder
So it's just typing in %appdata% in the type here to search area at the bottom of the windows 10 os. then deleting or backspacing the word roaming at the top of the window and replacing it with LocalLow.
After that finding Nvizzio folder and tycoon world and deleting any or all saved data that may or may not be cloud data that I had accumulated over the years. Or it could be the game does not save....I don't know!.
What I do know is I have it running now!
And over the years I finally discovered about 2 months ago the problem with most games.
because the 980gtx is getting old. That the 980gtx gets hot.
BREAKTHOUGH!
not just hot very hot. 2 months ago I installed a honda radiator not a little computer radiator like I had before. I hollowed out my waterblock for the 980gtx. Now the card games everything I throw at it. SO FAR!
So when they talk about the specs for tycoon world in this situation the 980 needs to be watercooled big time not small time.
Over the years the 4770K has gotten hot. I installed the second radiator to that cpu by using the radiator I used to use for the 980gtx. I got two big water pumps powering the pc one for the cpu and one for the graphic card they are A/C 120v plug in pump from ehiem brand. 600 gallon big dogs..
Now that is just me. but what is really important with a pc and running I discovered over the years is to underclock it. I run mine at 2.8ghz because it is watercooled. but 2.7 is fine and even 2.6 under that it may lag. but most important underclocking it will not reach over 42 degrees Celsius. and that temp seems to be the main reason why I can run games with the graphic card also even though it can get much hotter.
the cpu temp is the big crash reason but the graphic card will also at a hotter temp.
So that about wraps up RollerCoaster tycoon. And why I always wondered why I had problems with it, but now I don't. also making sure the regular things are turned off when underclocking the cpu like turbo and anything else that is recommended I think I have hyperthreading turned off as well and thermal trigger or whatever it is called.
Never ran good before BUT! today I just might get over 4000 people in the park. Have fun People and just keep at it!

if you have feedback or need help with a game, post in that games forum

This would be much better suited in the Roller coaster Tycoon forums, or as a guide. Preferably with paragraph breaks.
