tools appeared in my steam library

i have never once downloaded a single tool from steam, however i just noticed that over 100 tools are in my steam library, most of them for games i have never bought, also it doesnt seem like i have a charge for any of them on my card and i cant seem to find out if any of them had a cost. is this a glitch? should i be worried?

they are in everyones library, and they cost nothing, you probably never noticed because they are normally filtered out, meaning you have probably changed your library filters recently which is what made them appear

I got 147 tools in mine, mostly for server stuff, beta files and stuff like that, most of them are literally as Flux said, just there and dont notice, I just keep that tab in my library turned off xD

Most of these are installers for the dedicated server of the game. This usually also installs the actual game (Like for Dystopia and Eternal Silence. Sometimes quicker than finding the steam store page install button)

Every account has these tools. Uncheck the Tools filter in the Games drop down menu above the game list on the left.
