Is trading cards and steam backgrounds instantly tradable
I was wondering if trading cards and steam backgrounds are instantly tradable if brought on the steam market or does it fall under the line of the 1 week wait period

They are instantly tradeable and marketable except for "event" items.

Err.. No?

Newly bought items on the Marketplace have a 7 day cooldown. Everything now.
Just go to the market and look up any item. Get to the page where you can see how much someone is selling it for and what the other buy offers are.

Now read *all the words* above it. It says:

After purchase, this item:
will not be tradable for one week
cannot be listed on the Steam Community Market for one week

If you click the BUY button you will see the *same* words warning is written a second time.. right beneath the "check box" you have to click in order to "Agree to the terms of the Steam Subscriber Agreement".
