I clicked on the review and it opened the game product page.
Maybe I was in the wrong section.
I managed to edit the review when going into my profile and clicking as stated.
Thanks very much.
But really.. could the Steam interface be any more unclear?
How about an 'edit' button so people even know where to click?
I agree, an edit review button on the first page would make more sense.
Perfect - thanks!
Here is the proof: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0hecCWGxP_JVjdUdDFVUEdsbFk/view?usp=drivesdk
Click on your USERNAME on the top LEFT
On the drop down menu SELECT PROFILE
In the profile section looks for REVIEWS on the RIGHT and click on it
FIND the REVIEW you want to EDIT and CLICK ON RECOMMENDED
Once at the other page YOU WILL SEE EDIT on the right click on it and start editing you review
I went to the store page and in the top middle, below the image/video row and "INSTALL STEAM", "PLAY NOW" and "GET HELP" buttons. There is an unobtrusive link that states "view your review". Click that. THEN... to the right you should see an option, in a big green frame, to edit the review.
If you think logically and click "reviews" from your profile page, you will never find it.
Craptastic of you to hide that link, Steam... its not like people have been complaining about this for years. *sigh*
It is easiest to find the game in your library and go to the "Write Review" link.
That's what I was missing. Thank you!
There is a reply mid-way through this thread that lists the precise dance steps required to get there via the desktop app. It *is* possible but hot damn is it a stupid process to require.
Here are the steps that I *just* used: For anyone else who google this question, go to profile, reviews. Find the review you want to edit, then click on the recommendation thumb, It will link you to a page with a green "owner controls" box. This is where you will find the edit reviews button.
