Earning Steam Points

I wish there were some other ways of earning steam points as well. The only ways are if you buy something on steam or if someone awards you. Besides that I wish there was something like..."STEAM QUESTS"....complete them and you get points or something like that.
Also I wish that awarding someone points wouldn't end up being 1/3 of the points that one awarded. 1/2 would have been enough.

some get more then 15 ppl thats ez pt farming for little work

valve tried steam quests in 2010 it failed with ppl abusing multiple account for the awards

may have been earlier then 2010 i forget which yr but it was the steam treasure hunt that started it

At least it lets you keep a semblance of self respect, even if you’re ripping off others by using their poems and claiming them as yours.

No no absolutely not! I write my own poems and post them. I have written around 4-5 poems so far

So you either buy something, or produce something the community deems worthy of award.

Giving you free points like that would drastically udnercut the puropose of points. I mean even the events don't give you points, they give you stuff you'd normally buy with points.

Also I wish that awarding someone points wouldn't end up being 1/3 of the points that one awarded. 1/2 would have been enough.

Valve gotta take their cut.

Look M*. Plenty of ways to earn points. Write Helpful Guides, Create good art, Post insightful reviews. Be productive...
