Im talking about if you bring it on a thumbdrive and yes they allow it if you're done with your stuff for the day
Im just wondering if you bought the game, can you copy it onto another computer if you are the only one that plays the game
FYI this is not piracy as per your thread title. Its not usually job security either to do this but if they're ok with it bring it in.
However its probably best to bring in a non-work device to run the game because if something happens you don't want the problem to eat your work comptuer. Its a small risk but it happens often enough.
You can get some older games from GoG that may work 'portable' or search for free games on Google that have been made 'portable'. They usually will run off a USB drive and may still work on your school's computer.
Or in OP's case add a library on the thumb drive while at wherever, install the game there and then should be golden so long as their home PC also has the thumb drive as a library.
The only limiting factors here are:
are you ALLOWED to do this
is it SAFE to do this where you are
and
can the computer physically PLAY that game.
License software to an account, and you can use it on any PC as long as you are logged into said account.
Vac Bans, etc.
It's not worth it imsho.
