Hoping this bump gives this topic some attention.
Reinstalling didn't fix it either, if I turn the above setting ON it's still there.
The buttons, I was able to live with (kind of), but the X to close a chat window sometimes would not work or it was really hard to click, because it was almost halfway out of my actual chat window.
Changing that setting to OFF fixed both of these issues.
Thank you!
Thank you. (also the guy i chat with said "Do not tell your password to anyone" Obviously im not dumb enough to do that. though I still have my suspicions.
Thanks so much. That issue had been annoying me for nearly a year. Your solution nailed it.

Btw my problem was different. If you are using 2 or more monitor that only one of them using windows scaling it messes up with chat windows and only fix other than this that changing its size from bottom right corner and it fixes temporarily. But after closing it does the same thing so to fix it you should disable the option i said before so you can fix permanently.
Thanks man, this solved the issue I was having. It had to do with writing in the chat boxes. I couldn't see what I wrote until the sentence was done and it visibly glitched as if it had some screen tearing as I was scrolling it. Surprisingly it took this long to find a solution but thanks again, this was it.
