Someone said on Discord they accidentally reported me for illegal purchases, But it sounds fishy

He said "I was about to report someone by illegal purchased but I accidentally reported you instead of him, for fraudulent report the steam developer said that you could get suspended on your steam" And then proceeds to show me an image of a steamsupport reply saying I will get banned in 4 hours permanently, But it sounds fishy that you will get banned perm if someone accidentaly reports you.

I did that. I went along with it until they wanted me to disable my steam auth and confirm an account recovery and I just sent a gif saying "I FORGOR" and saying I don't see it and they removed me.
