NO HELP WITH REMOVE TOKEN AFTER CHANGE MOBILE NUMBER!
Some time ago I lost access to my authenticator token because I moved to another country. Therefore, I could not log into my STEAM profile. I wrote with a request to remove this token several times, once in 2014 they removed without a problem and the same in 2016. Later, I set up a token again and now they want a physical key from me from a piece of paper, which has surely faded and to which I no longer have access because I live in another country. Besides, it is the greatest foolishness to ask for a key from a piece of paper if your account was set up in 2003, it is more than logical that the code will fade out. And due to the fact that I do not have access to the old cdkey anymore, they do not want to remove the token .. You can not count on their help, even if you have sensitive accurate data in the form of name and billing address,

You could simply stop "losing" your "token". The Steam mobile authenticator is installed on your phone which you can keep when moving to another country.

and you can close your German mouth with malicious hints. We don't need trolls like you here.

Reboot's a regular "around here" and his advice is pretty solid in this case. You're the one "losing" access to your account - Steam support isn't to blame either.

And after looking at your profile it's more likely that someone else keeps misplacing you're tokens. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey - This field should be blank

The mobile authenticator doesn't suddenly stop working.

It stop working when you
A) Not using the correct time on both devices, as it's a time algorithm.

B) You revoked your mobile app, or have changed it back to email 2FA.

Steam support will only do what is asked when YOU provided proof of ownership of the account. They will not remove your mobile authenticator if you couldn't provide proof of ownership. If you're unable to provide said information, then you must reply back to them for next step to providing proof of ownership.

Also common sense would've told, since this being your 3rd time now from what you're saying, that you should've just written down your R-code so if you want to remove it, you have the code to remove it to begin with, even the setup process literally tells you with red banner to write your recovery code down.

Is it YOUR account?

Originally?

Because ... that's a hella old account for someone who doesn't seem to know how to use the steam system.

This is why you keep you accounts up to date no matter how old they are. There are several old accounts (stolen or unwanted) being sold for malicious purposes so Valve will still require a high level of proof that the account belonged to the owner originally. If the account has any value then there should be several historic elements attached that you can use to provide proof of ownership such as old game codes, credit cards used, email etc...
