settlers game

im after a new city building game and i am thinking of buying "the settlers", only problem is i cant seem to find the game, only what looks like add-ons to it...ive found "The Settlers:history edition/rise of an empire/heritage of kings..is it one of these i buy or is there an actual Settlers game...i have looked but fsr i cant find it on steam

i'm afraid it's only on ubisoft ... would love to see them on steam too!

Are all full games from the 'settlers' franchise, Settlers 7 being the most recent. A new game in the franchise, just called 'The Settlers' will most likely not be available on Steam, like most other upcoming Ubisoft games. The Settlers I-IV are classic games, although a bit dusty by now. They are available on GoG (II-IV) and on Ubisoft Connect, with the latter ones being updated for modern systems (and being on sale right now)
