Lunar New Year Sale 2021 No Trading Cards
i got no trading cards this year at the Lunar event while exploring my Discovery Queue.
Also i cant find 2021 lunar trading cards in market place.
Does anyone know if the trading cards are not available this year or is it a yust a bug?

No cards.

You can visit point shop to claim your free sticker each day there 4 total. Do note they added new lunar items, such as avatar, profile background, and emotes you can redeem using Steam store points.

The events are becoming more and more loveless and pathetic.
There is then no reason for me to buy on Steam if i can't even increase my Steam Level by purchasing games.

You do know you can redeem season badge from the Steam points store right?

You get points by buying games, and can use those points on the Steam point shop, to redeem seasonal badge, emotes, stickers, and more.

If you want to level, I mean you could've gotten trading cards from market place, and level up when craft you badges.

There are no trading cards for Lunar 2021 so how should I buy them in the market?
I would like to receive trading cards for purchasing the games at this event Lunar 2021 and for discovering the lists.

Anyway, I am a patient person, I can also wait until the games on my wish list are given away by EPIC.

You do know games has trading cards right? There hundreds of game badges.

Also like I said there seasonal badge which I see you do not have.

they want to divert attention to the new "sets" they introduced which are a total ripoff

new sale strat for steam is "SPEND MORE POINTS AND BUY MORE SO YOU GET MORE POINTS"

bring back sale event games :steamthumbsdown:

Last year there wasn't one either, so I thought there wasn't time because of the pandemic.

that would honestly be the lamest excuse why and how would the pandemic stop them from throwing in some art for a new set for this years' lunar sale.

Last year, you had to buy games to get points to redeem a badge. No trading cards last year.

Yes, unfortunately that is how it is.
Others give away games to harm Steam and to lure more players to rip them off in their MMO's.

The sale events were good, you also play games that were gathering dust in the library and you suddenly found fun at games that you had only played on years ago.

Steam has some advantages over EPIC, so they can give away as many games as they want.
Steam is simply the better platform compared to EPIC.
I've got almost every game since Subnautica and I wished for some titles that I would rather have them on Steam.
I really love the events, I always had a lot of fun at the events.

Are you referring to the Spring Cleanup event? That is a different event from the Lunar New Year. The Cleanup event occurs in mid to late May.

Well considering many people seem to spend money to acquire points.. this might be some next level strategy.
