Why does the State of Israel pay more money for games in STEAM?
I am a Jewish American citizen and I did a check on all the games here and compared them to the dollar and the euro What I have found is that a person from Europe and a person from America pay less the more the same money A person from Israel and a person from the rest of the world pay between 25% and 50% more I asked this question with steam and the answer I got was hallucinatory steam decided that this is how they pay in this area. So I asked to pay in dollars and their answer was no! Because I and others should otherwise pay them less
Without a clear answer as to why players from Israel pay more it seems like uncompromising greed and that they can Not to mention that they sold me 3 games that do not work without a refund like the game who knows Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian You asked them who decided like that BDS an organization that hates Israel? The world 21st century owes thanks to Israel who invented many things life-saving drugs Google The first computer was created in Israel watsaap. YouTube The new iPhone processors The new Intel processors Everything was created by smart people in Israel But the American companies are the ones taking the credit steam without a logical answer is considered a racist company in my eyes and lucky I do not have to live with it I will go to a court in Colorado and get from steam company the answers because me and my friends from Israel pay more for games out of greed for money And they break the international sales laws and laws they wrote that I read them sit there people behind the table who record who will pay more without financial balance one can put on a game $ 500 and the other 100$ GAME battlefild that came out costs Israelis $ 159! That for the rest of the world it costs about $ 80

Greed for money on one country without balance ,thank you very much steam

Steam doesn't set prices, the developers do.

It may also depend on the value of the countries currencythe game is sold in against the currency used by the developers.

Israel is a wealthy state.

You can get your clear answer by asking the game developers/publishers, who are responsible for setting the prices on Steam.

https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/pricing
Partners on Steam are responsible for setting and managing pricing for their products.
Partners being the game developers/publishers.

No steam did not give you that answer as they do not set the pricing. Feel free to paste the exact message where you claim otherwise

Again talk to the developers. Steam is a storefront for the dev's. They don't control the pricing, the dev's do.

No different then if you went to sell an item on amazon, they aren't going to tell you what to sell it for. They might offer a SUGGESTED price based on other games, the strength of the currency, etc, but the dev's are the one who decide on the price.

They might not do regional pricing at all for some regions which can also cause games to be more expensive there without adjustment.

steam makes promotions for games 50% off deal and for me it is 10% off it is no longer related to developers its becuse i life in this country or pay from this area, you get 50% deals i get 10 ? really ?

The most likely culprits are currency exchange rates and additional fees/duties for publishing/selling within Israel.

I honestly don't know what a Colorado court is going to be able to do for you, but hey, it's your time and money.

Finally, as a courtesy to the rest of us, please separate your posts into paragraphs.

It's not true steam knows to recognize a dairy cow, and their answer is what they set even though there are games that the developers set but not at the level of 80% of the games me and you buy the same game you 50% off I get 10% on the same game? And if you want to buy in dollars they tell you NO!

It sounds understandable what the reason is
The Israeli legal system is different from America so filed it in America instead of my homeland in the laws of the country I do not want to know how much money I paid for nothing and bought from them 1000 games

Steam doesn't make promotions, developers set their sale terms and can define what % to discount a game per region.

Again steam does not set the pricing for other people's items. Not sure how many times and how many people can tell you the same thing.

That is the ONLY thing that you have correct that steam does. You have to pay in the currency of the country you live in. Same with really every store. I can't walk into a store in America or a website and pay in another countries currency.

I checked it against the euro and the dollar that in Europe there are more than 30 countries paying with a slight deviation in prices but do I in Israel have to pay more? So the whole world pays equally and me and my friends do not?
