How to remove "Community Contributor" badge from profile? - help.

I guess I was given a community award bought with steam points, which resulted in me receiving this "Community Contributor" badge which I do not want at all. It hides my other badges even if I crafted those badges after. Can someone help me out? How do I go about removing this from my badge collection?

At the moment you don't do anything. Steam has them locked on everyone's profile.

i found a fix for the community patron badge, which is changing your password thru the "forgot my password" option, and i was hoping it would fix this, but it didnt. so frustrating :/

welp it actually removed my community patron badge from the 4 badge showcase thing. just didnt remove the contributor badge

Community Contributor can not be removed. This section of your badges is not meant to be altered/customized by you. Please use Badge Showcase if there's badges you want to show.

ik its not for me to customize it. but i used to be able to craft 4 badges and have those there and now i have absolutely NO choice at all anymore. i know theres a badge showcase but i didnt intentionally want this badge so...

There is no way to remove this badge and the community badges take precedence over the others. Two more will be introduced within the next year likely which will completely take over that spot. The Badge Showcase and Featured Badge are the settings used to display the badges you want.

I already said i knew about the badge showcase so you rly do not have to pound that into my brain because you can clearly see i have utilized that feature on my profile.
