Cause you know, the problem is simply "people being people".
Report the incorrect tags.
Except A/B is literally a binary identification system. Binary requires two things, no more, no less. So it's not non-binary, sorry.
Any identification system that ignores male and female fits under that. Why do you think the devs chose those labels instead of traditional genders.
You are proudly part of DEID, which proves that the only truth in your mind is whatever elicits the strongest anger response. I could rename male and female to 0 and 1 and it'd still be binary. Welcome to the definition of binary. Doesn't matter what labels you put on it, as long as it's either one or the other, it's binary.
Male-Female: Binary
A-B: Binary
0-1: Binary
Off-On: Binary
Dude-Dudette: Binary
Perhaps instead of chasing ghosts and that next rage high, stop listening to people who don't care about you outside of being a statistic for ad revenue and start educating yourself about real problems with the world and the video game industry.
I ignored the "point" because said point has no intellectual substance. This entire anti-woke movement has nothing to do with intellectualism or any real problems with the industry or else y'all would be calling for the end to such practices as firing people after a game is finally finished in order to post higher profits for the shareholders, crunch culture, unreasonably tight deadlines, the demonization of QA, the attempted eradication of QA while trying to foist it upon the customer, cutting content out of the game in order to sell it back to you at a later date.
You know, things actually damaging the video game industry. Instead, it's all because, "Someone told me to be mad, so I'm going to be mad." Woke didn't ruin video games. Whatever the new definition of woke is didn't exist until this decade, Video Gaming has been a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ since before 2010. Why? Because of literally everything I listed above. But none of that's important because the person you go to in order to be told what to think has told you, "Don't get angry at any of that, all of that is good for the industry. Get angry at the "woke"!" Why do they do that? Because they benefit from keeping people like you perpetually enraged and they benefit from the video game industry whether or not it's a broken, corporatized mess or not.
By the way, being perpetually enraged at things has been proven to shorten your lifespan.
It's the same thing that people tagging Barbie or Paw Patrol games as 'Psychological Horror'. Some people whenever given the choice, will behave as a tool.
I think Steam could do better in regards moderating the tag system.
Oh. I'm aware.
Still not nearly as ridiculous as RuneScape. Updated a 12 year-old game solely to remove gender and add character pronouns.
Like I said, devs are entitled to do this stuff, and users are entitled to add the appropriate tags to the game. Let the market have the information and make their decisions from there.
And that's the point of *all* this idiotic manufactured culture war stupidity. Whether they're calling it PC, or SJW, or Woke, or whatever they come up with next.
Keep the base enraged, keep them doing stupid performative (*&^ like machine-gunning their Bud Light, keep them distracted. So that they keep electing the same pro-billionaire, pro-corporate, grifters without noticing how they're dragging everything down and making things harder for the average Joe. All in the name of shoving $$$ into the pockets of the richest jerks.
And all the Youtube Outrage merchants are just the latest way to do it. Keep those "OMG, Panic over this total nothingburger! Our promo pic is all scary and red! Fear!" videos coming, and all the good minions reposting them in Off Topic. Gotta keep the plebes distracted and divided.

Meanwhile, on the Tags topic - yeah, people have been mis-applying tags for years and years. Before all the actual sex games were here, for instance, anti-anime-game guys (or prudes. or both), were sticking the "Nudity" tag on any anime-art game that showed even a little cleavage, or had a swimsuit.
So, the tag is probably revenge from the people aggravated by the Body Type A/B.
I know the original creator is aggravated because honestly, the whole Type A/B thing is rather goofy.
DEID isn't the best, but it's also not the worst steam group to be a part of.
Boy do I have the meme for you... ever hear of Saw Patrol?
As for the actual topic though, yea people have been misappropriating tags for ages. Just because a game classifies characters by body type rather than male/female does not mean it has LGBTQ content or that the tag is actually relevant. So unless they leaned super hard into the puff puff massage gag this time and actually played it straight instead of the ol bait and switch they've done every game (which I highly doubt)... yea the tag probably isn't really applicable.
It was censored in the GBC remake of the game. Which would be over 20 years old at this point. It's not well documented so much as misleading. People are acting like, "Oh, it's suddenly censored because woke!" No, a lot of this ♥♥♥♥ is over 20 years old at this point, just people are suddenly caring now.
