Even the literal Rainbow Ultramarines would be less awkward to be in a game. XD

I know very little about Warhammer, but I know of both the Sisters of Battle and Sisters of Silence.

Tito has been a Warhammer & Warhammer fantasy player for a veeeery long time. Own and painted several armies. And still follow the hobby despite not having played for a long time.

All the women custodes controversy predates the videogame itself. The hobby has had for years an issue with toxic alt-right and nazi people trying to culturally appropriate the hobby because of the imaginery.

Most games meet that requirement and it is actually the single letter groups that are not represented in numbers that people think they are.

That's the problem of trying to find something that has no fabricated outrage attached when everything gets one these days.

And there is a wealth of games completely unaffected by fabricated outrage. You know it too, it affects only mainstream games. Though it seems like people can't really agree what to be outraged at. Some are foaming at their mouth already when the protagonist is female, others are a bit more specific... but there's a deep and pristine well completely unpolluted by the outrage generating machinery.
