Diablo 4 not working today

I played D4 earlier today and was kicked out of the game for no reason, I did the fix issues thing, now the game boots but i get a frozen start screen and have to reboot my computer, tried to restart the game like 5x now but always get the frozen screen no matter which of my characters i try to play. This game has never worked correctly for me frequently get kicked offline for no reason and I won't buy the upgrade until they fix the original version. I basically paid $99 just to be repeatedly frustrated because the game frequently cuts out just after I've found loot but before I can pick the loot up.
