Ps4 controller, Steam and mouse drifting
Hello, when I turn on Steam, if my ps4 controller is wired to my PC, it will cause my logitech mouse to drift.I have been looking for a fix for months. Since this happens without starting any game, turning off steam input diesn't fix anything.

My mouse won't stop drifting horizontally and this issue doesn't happen with Gog or epic , amazon app, etc.

I would like to know if there is a general setting to fix this issue.

Sounds like your mouse could be worn out? is it older? As for a controller i picked up a 8bitdo ultimate c wired controller and i am issue free. 8bitdo 2c wired is next. Both my dual sense controllers have what they call drift but is actually caused by cheap sticks wearing out after a year of use or more, all sticks these days should use hall effect (magnets)
Try going to the Steam Controller overlay, and lowering the sensitivity a tad bit on the stick in question.

I lowered the sensivity of the stick, whoich for some reason was to 275%.I set tit to 10%, the minimum allowed, which mostly fixed the issue but doesnt completely erase it

edit the layout for 'desktop' and load default 'gamepad' layout?
