AVATAR BAN
I find it so ridiculous that Steam bans a sexy but fully clothed woman avatar because in 2024 this is a crime and breaks the rules yet having LGBTQIA+ avatars are so cool or even worse they even sell criminals avatar like Stalin or Putin. What are you guys thoughts about this rules do they seem fair to you?

Update
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu2-FNksUJI just pause at 3:19 and i got banned because a fully clothed woman butt on steam as avatar is not allowed in 2024 and magically no rules apply for selling girls shaking boobs as avatars, sex games on Steam.

And with that you basically answered everything that is wrong with Steam and the context their rules apply.
Nope. It's not wrong of them to not read these threads. Do you know how much manpower it would take to read every single one of these threads?
To apply the rules you need information and context so you can make the right decision and not just read a few lines people reported and automatically apply the ban.

As you were told in the very first post of this thread, take it up with support.

Posting on the forums about it, does nothing. Actually, less than nothing.

What anyone thinks here, is irrelevant as I told you before.

So again, making the thread was pointless. I also seriously doubt that's what support told you.
Touching your toes in lycra pantaloons is dabbling in excercize paraphernalia which is very un-nerdsmanlike behaviour! This is inciteful and disruptive to nerd culture!

Suffah! Suffah blasphemer! Let's see your hands. So help me God if I don't see Dorito powder...

Assuming that OP is on the level... really don't know about this one mang.

That is Steam rules for you in a nutshell we dont ban LGBTQ content to not discriminate anyone we sell sex games and avatars with girls shaking boobs etc yet we have a big problem with a clothed woman butt.

Wait a minute! You said from a Youtube video. Are you sure that it was removed because of nudity or something else like copyright?

It could be that the Youtuber who uploaded the video reported you.

No apparently some players reported me to Steam cause they found that avatar offensive and you know steam mods they only read what it's reported dont look for more information or context or anything else they just simply ban you so my avatar of a still image of a fully clothed woman butt breaks steam rules apparently so imagine saying this while youre selling sex games, animated avatars(backgrounds) with girls shaking boobs, ass etc on your own store.
There's something very weird going on in this thread.

Anybody else noticing this?

Weird in what way even yourself with that avatar that Steam ironically sells is more inappropriate than what the OP posted and got banned for.

Pretty sure OP has deleted and reposted his last post at least 3 times now, and I could've sworn there was another dude who posted after it the second time he put it there.

But yes, my avatar is literally a motion version of the one he got banned for that Steam has on the points shop. Total proof OP's ban was 100% justified!

That is exactly what does not make sense to me your avatar has a girl ,,swinging ass'' and OP got banned for a still image of a clothed butt.
I'm not going to argue whether it was or wasn't breaking rules. It's not my responsibility to do so. However, if one decides to ride close to the line between decency and offensive, one will have to expect their chosen picture, or name, is going to be interpreted differently, and the decision to remove it or not isn't going to always align with their own interpretation.

If your intent is to be edgy and controversial with your choices, you're going to get edgy and controversial responses. Nothing straightforward will come of it.

And that butt was not even 20% of the whole image. This avatar IS more focused.

True but why do we have so called Steam rules if it only apply to certain individuals while others can sell and make money of exactly the same thing or even worse.
