I find it so ridiculous that Steam bans a sexy but fully clothed woman avatar because in 2024 this is a crime and breaks the rules yet having LGBTQIA+ avatars are so cool or even worse they even sell criminals avatar like Stalin or Putin. What are you guys thoughts about this rules do they seem fair to you?

True and it's ridiculous cause when I play CS2 I see alot worse avatars going from fully naked woman's to racist text images etc and nobody cares.

So basically in 2024 posting an avatar with a fully clothed woman on Steam will get you banned never thought il see the day when posting LGBTQ stuff on steam is allowed and cool but you get discriminated and banned for something normal like that and yes i can't ask them any more question they just basically said we will ignore you LOL and the avatar ban will not get removed.

There was another guy that had his avatar banned repeatedly, even though he got if from the points shop.

I just looked at the pic in question, and OMG, I can't believe STEAM would have a problem with something that is "possibly" barely a PG rating

Very true but by steam rules and logic in 2024 a fully clothed woman bending over breaks the rules if it was a man it's okay not to get them accused of discriminate you know who.

I mean to be fair, steam allows 13+ people to use (younger if you have a parent? idk) so that's fair.

Of course the same rule wouldn't be applied to human men I'm pretty sure though.

I'm quite sure the moderation of images is not even done by people, at least not always. There have been cases of images completely "family friendly" getting banned.

I dont have an issue with the picture. I wouldnt have an issue with it if any of the women were wearing less cloths. I also understand where steam draws the line on what can be uploaded and used as an avatar. the line for what is allowed isnt always clear because people will try game the system.

maybe steam wouldnt have an issue if the woman was facing a different direction, maybe they wouldnt have an issue if the pants were not so form fitting. All I can do is point out what the issue may be with the picture.

steam decides where the line is drawn, we simply need to understand where that line is. steams policy may change later about what is allowed. how many of the adult games that we see on steam wouldn't be allowed a decade ago?

the only thing steam support cares about is that the avatar was reported and violated the rules. they dont care who reported it nor why someone reported it. Images of woman's butts or chests may be considered sexual in nature so they get removed. doesnt matter if they are fully clothed or bare or partially covered.

If people want the policy to change, post in the suggestion forum. just remember that others have different views on things and may disagree for various reasons.

I have seen people not get banned for way more than that but that's Steam rules in a nutshell there is no consistency between decisions each apply their own idea of rules.

Also they ban me for 2 days from posting artworks and removed it funny how fast they work when it comes to make themselves look good and other players bad that was in a way my proof but at least they cant take a youtube video down LOL but one thing is for sure it's either their way or not and nothing else matters.

Seen worse than this and nobody cared it's mostly if a mod has common sense and you dont get a snowflake that will spin everything they way he wants in the name of the rules.
