You can lie all you like, but we have actual evidence and the words from different devs on different games literally stating that Sony told them that they could not release various games without agreeing to certain changes.

Omega Labyrinth was one such high profile example, and the devs even publicly mocked Sony/Playstation over that mandate.
Unsure a game with 66% positive lifetime reviews, that has been out since 2k19 would count as a good game, however...

Hell, Steam itself has been a part of game censorship practices. Usually pertaining to do with perceived underaged individuals in sexual situations (usually anime girls in school uniforms being put in sexual/risque poses/situations)

Ah, a game I've never heard of. Perfect "high profile" example.

And after a quick check, that game was not published by Sony at all.
I have never heard of you before either, so your opinion must not matter, lol.

See how useless that argument is, LMAO

The company publicly mocked Sony. The Uncensored version on Switch blew away the Sony version in sales too. Sony was so rustled by it that they even made a new policy stating that if you were going to release a game on the PS, then it had to be the same version as on other platforms.

So even if some nobody online never heard of it, Sony certainly heard of it.

last we heard of Stellar Blade "selling like hot cakes", it was reported to have sold over 1 million units.

It was in the top 5 of the charts as I recall. It sold over 1 million copies as a brand new IP and as a PS5 exclusive, and it is supposed to be getting a PC port before long, so it will sell even more.

https://www.pcgamesn.com/stellar-blade/pc-port
Shift Up finally says the Stellar Blade PC port is coming in the "near future," and it's confident this version will outsell the PS5 one.

assuming the game was overall in the so-called "top 5 charts" for how long did that last? where was it positioned? was it a consistent number? did it just suddenly change position so it was no longer in the top 5?

let's not forget SB was also a "deep pocket" affair, and the whole "over 1 million units sold" thing came out over 2 months AFTER launch, meaning that it was slow to pick up momentum. as you said, it was indeed a PS5 exclusive but brand-new IPs aren't guaranteed "hot cake sellers"; i know full well that there's a PC port coming but don't go too weird about it.

It released like the last week of April and still rocketed to number 1 for that month.

what about the following week? and the week after that? obv left the "top 5 charts" after that point but i care about data. SB has yet to make its budget and the game being this slow to chart "over 1 million sold" is super concerning.

Which week did Concord top the charts? lol

Still cherrypicking to try and prove "DEI is what's killing games"?

You mean how the Acolyte flopped, and they cried its because shows with female leads and diverse casts will never be allowed to succeed, ignoring that the show was just DEI soap boxing.

Meanwhile, a show that was made to be entertaining first and foremost, despite being having a female lead and diverse cast, did extremely well in the form of Fallout.

The issue isn't diversity. The issue is the hamfisted soap boxing and design-by-committee.

it was not reported, but it being a flop is no secret by this point. official playstation blog stopped reporting PSN top downloads after July 2024.

as for SB, it made two appearances on PSN top downloads blog posts: April 2024[blog.playstation.com] and May 2024[blog.playstation.com], respectively. SB was 2nd in US/CAN and 3rd in EU by April; SB top downloaded position would drop significantly in the following month with the game being 8th in US/CAN and 10th in EU.

none of what you said about Stellar Blade "selling like hot cakes" add up.

Yes and Concord couldn't have done poorly because it was poorly made, in an already well established genre of which I can name 5 still played/popular games off the top of my head. 4 of which are free to play.

Nope, has to be DEI.

Good lord, moving the goalposts. Topic isn't Acolyte, it's Concord. Lol

Luckily, I recognize sealioning and bad faith when I see it. Have a good one.

You have been repeatedly harping on and bringing up other examples, and had no problem crying about Stellar Blade for hours on end, but they second I give you an example that you can mental gymnastics your way out of, you immediately tuck tail and run with an insult throw in to boot.

I wish I could say I was surprised, but this is just typical behavior from the DEI camp. Demand compliance, insult anyone who doesn't bend the knee, and avoid discussing any points that expose your forced agenda.

So let me end by saying this, "you cannot end racism and sexism simply my shifting the target of it, no matter how much you or the others in the DEI camp want to do so. Oppressing whom you consider the historical oppressor, does not lead to freedom. It just leads to more oppression, and the cycle begins anew."

Having an old person moment? Please point out where I've been crying about Stellar Blade "for hours on end". I'll wait. Cause, now you're just making up a narrative. Which is what you do, when you don't start crying "fallacy" and dipping out.

Except they were crying about Stellar Blade.

They used it as an example of DEI not being a game killer.
