Hell, Steam itself has been a part of game censorship practices. Usually pertaining to do with perceived underaged individuals in sexual situations (usually anime girls in school uniforms being put in sexual/risque poses/situations)
See how useless that argument is, LMAO

The company publicly mocked Sony. The Uncensored version on Switch blew away the Sony version in sales too. Sony was so rustled by it that they even made a new policy stating that if you were going to release a game on the PS, then it had to be the same version as on other platforms.
So even if some nobody online never heard of it, Sony certainly heard of it.

let's not forget SB was also a "deep pocket" affair, and the whole "over 1 million units sold" thing came out over 2 months AFTER launch, meaning that it was slow to pick up momentum. as you said, it was indeed a PS5 exclusive but brand-new IPs aren't guaranteed "hot cake sellers"; i know full well that there's a PC port coming but don't go too weird about it.
Meanwhile, a show that was made to be entertaining first and foremost, despite being having a female lead and diverse cast, did extremely well in the form of Fallout.
The issue isn't diversity. The issue is the hamfisted soap boxing and design-by-committee.
as for SB, it made two appearances on PSN top downloads blog posts: April 2024[blog.playstation.com] and May 2024[blog.playstation.com], respectively. SB was 2nd in US/CAN and 3rd in EU by April; SB top downloaded position would drop significantly in the following month with the game being 8th in US/CAN and 10th in EU.
none of what you said about Stellar Blade "selling like hot cakes" add up.
Nope, has to be DEI.
Good lord, moving the goalposts. Topic isn't Acolyte, it's Concord. Lol
Luckily, I recognize sealioning and bad faith when I see it. Have a good one.
I wish I could say I was surprised, but this is just typical behavior from the DEI camp. Demand compliance, insult anyone who doesn't bend the knee, and avoid discussing any points that expose your forced agenda.
So let me end by saying this, "you cannot end racism and sexism simply my shifting the target of it, no matter how much you or the others in the DEI camp want to do so. Oppressing whom you consider the historical oppressor, does not lead to freedom. It just leads to more oppression, and the cycle begins anew."
They used it as an example of DEI not being a game killer.
