The refunds thing is actually happening.
Though for PSN it apparently can take up to a whopping 60 days / 2 months for the refund to be processed. (Man, people who bought that game on PS must be cheesed off...)
Yep, i heard.
Except for the people who don't care or do want that stuff, of course.
It definitely was one of the reasons for it's failure. Many people wouldn't buy it just for that reason.
DEi stuff isnt the problem, bad Games are the problem
It was not a problem of a bad game... just that the easy influenced masses crowd on that valve game.
Or is the DEI excuse only valid when a game fails?
People are putting too much emphasis on "DEI", and not stupid mistakes that are basic common sense.
Such as, Ghost Recon, after seeing how well Wildlands did, taking GR, out the game, making it a solo shooter. That made no sense, only for the developer to play catch up after people went nuts, and add the AI (Ghost Recon), and what ended up a great game. But it was too late.
Or that same developer, knowing you have first and third person options, most people using third person, making their next game, a sole first person game. I'm starting to think those developers are on drugs.
Then you have the Star Wars Universe, where they could have done anything. Be a Rebel Soldier, customization options, and fight those epic battles. But nope. Again, common sense.
These games flop, because the developers are stupid. This game flopped, apparently being they saw a fad years ago, but was late to the party.
The lesson is, these developers need to stay off social media. Stay off of the dope, and create a game they think others will want to play, given the demographics they are reaching out too.
