Cookies in steam games???
I just installed a free game called "Shipping Manager" and started playing it. After basic character creation, the game informed me that by playing the game, I had accepted their cookies.

I instantly uninstalled the game.

Please forgive me for being too old and ignorant to know how cookies work outside of browsers.

Where are steam games able to place cookies and how do I get rid of them?

It appears to be a web based game.

Cookies are entirely a browser thing.

The Steam client is basically a huge browser, so even the client uses cookies to store your info. Regarding the game, you should ask that in the game hub. It's related to the game, not Steam.
