Why does Valve allow "dei detected" cancer posters
Every single forum about any new game has a new thread made every day about "dei" or whatever low effort troll campaign is currently happening on Twitter. And they're all bad actors from the same group. Reporting does nothing, generally. This is a genuinely awful place because of these people. Seems like a very easy fix tbh.

Mind the fact that the need for a PSN account means one hundred an seventy seven countries cannot access the game at all, due to PSN not being available on those countries.

But it was the woke stuff that crashed the game. Totally. Not a series of stupid bean counter decisions that resulted in the final failure of the product. It was all the forced inclusivity stuff.

Sony killed Concord the same way they would have killed Helldivers on release had the game really required a PSN account to play it.

Plus the underlying cancer that is killing AAA gaming: Risk aversion. Badly remaking an old game badly or badly replicating someone else's game is still a far safer career move than taking a risk on anything new.

Obvious cope from you two. Are you really being sincere here? It's pretty hard to believe, but then again, so is this whole woke business so I just can't tell anymore.

the cancer is greed.... its always greed.....

productivity is used to squeeze blood out
of the stone and give more profit to the rich...

poorer quality higher prices for more profits for greedy being greedy....

less for everyone else... more profits for the already rich....

greed is always the cancer.

You'd understand if you'd ever worked in a large corporate.

I don't see how that is an answer. You people really love your insinuations, don't you. That leaves a lot of room for you to wiggle here and there if you need to. And you need that a lot.

You people?

Also I just went back and read your original post, man the audacity of whinging about my post when yours was literally "Obvious cope from you two. Are you really being sincere here? It's pretty hard to believe, but then again, so is this whole woke business so I just can't tell anymore."

That Tito guy also loves them. Therefore, he is blocked. I only saw his comment because you replied to it.

You're probably going to want to block me too then.

Because I'm still laughing about you posting "Obvious cope from you two. Are you really being sincere here? It's pretty hard to believe, but then again, so is this whole woke business so I just can't tell anymore" then complaining about how I didn't take you seriously.

Ah okay so you are butthurt and trying to cover it up by telling me that you are "laughing about it". Sure sure, this is all very believable and sincere like I know all of you to be.

That's how you get Battle Royale gamemodes stuffed into AAA titles when people is already bored about a genre they've been playing to hell for five years on indie games.

At a certain point one starts to wonder where risk aversion ends and where purposely doing things wrong to make some tax engineering on your benefit starts.

Are you making a game for real or are you making a lot of expenses to then declare bankrupt the project and write yourself a tax check?

I don't even think that even the pack of people making a career of getting you people's panties in a twist do actually believe Concord's failure has really that much to do with 'wokeness'.

But it's a very useful laser pointer to get all the kitties rustled chasing it and making you earn cash hand over fist.

Oh ye, same people that couldn't shut up about 110 170 countries back then, now brushed it off and suddenly extra account is not an issue at all. It's all "wokeness".

You expect me to argue with you about this? Even if you would be partially right, we know by now that you people will do anything to defend the story you care about. You care about that much more than what's actually true. You will never give in no matter how wrong you are.

Therefore, this is totally pointless. The only challenge still left is to not let the wokies provoke you into tiresome "discussions" which will go nowhere fast, yet can last forever if you are not vigilant.

I mean, the claims about the PSN killing PC ports is substantiated. The risk aversion claims are also substantiated.

The only thing not substantiated in this thread is political culture nonsense inconsistently killing some games and making others massively successful despite both games doing the same thing.

See my last comment above. It doesn't matter how scientifical and rational you pretend to be, because your starting point is wrong. I call this reverse reasoning. Normal reasoning is: You start with what's there and logically come to a conclusion. What you do is: You start with the conclusion you want, then try to assemble evidence to reach that conclusion. It is useless to try to debate anything with people who do this.

What you're explaining is called inductive reasoning. The opposite of deductive reasoning. But inductive reasoning isn't inherently bad. Both inductive and deductive reasoning is used in the fields of science sometimes. Heck, Sherlock Holmes who is known for his deductive reasoning actually engages in a lot of inductive reasoning in the shows and books too.

So Sony releasing a paid game with a requirement that bans the people in 177 countries from even playing it having an impact on sales is a 'wrong starting point'

But the same ocurring due to DEI policies is not?
