What type of game should i play?

Lately I've been confused about what game to play? And what game genres are most popular? Please give me some advice.

Civilization 5 and 6
Galactic Civilizations 3 and 4
Cities: Skylines
Planet Zoo
Planet Coaster
Stellaris
Prehistoric Kingdom (early access)
Jurassic World Evolution 2
Master of Orion (remake)

The store have more than 100k games, just pick something you like by using store tags , it can be a good start imo ... no need to fomo the mass ...
Not counting you can use the feature "discovery queue" on steam also

According to sales data, mobile games seem to be widely more popular than pc games so if that is your main criterion, there is that.
Otherwise, look what seems most fun to you and give it a try. If you are completely lost, why not get a bundle from some reputable store like Humble or Fanatical so you can try a few different games for a relatively low price?
