Why doesn't game storage show up on the Windows storage screen?
At this moment, on the Windows 10 storage screen, none of my steam games display their storage. This makes it difficult to decide what to remove in order to free up space on the hard drive. If this information is available in the game properties, why can't the info be transferred to the Windows 10 lists?

If this can't be resolved, is there another way to view all your games by storage space in one list?

lsblk -o name,label,fsavail,fsuse%
Thunar file manager tells you the space inside each directory.
You can also use df command. It tells you same thing in each directory how much space your using.

I don't know how to switch to different drive letter directories. I don't even know how to see what drive letters are in use in DOS.
cd into your steamapps common folder than run the df command. It will break it down by directory name or use a file manager program of your choice with a Gui.

For Steam games at least there's...

Click a collection on the left game list (ALL), click the dropdown to sort by Size on Disk.
Use the built-in Steam storage manager.
Click "Steam" on the top right corner, then Settings, go to Downloads and click “Steam Library Folders”

This method is preferred, now if only I knew why the info can't just be in the Windows storage list.
I think Steam doesn't "install" the games on the traditional way, so Windows doesn't have that info, It can tell something is installed but not the size. You're right that it should.

Now that i'm looking at my list multiple programs don't show the size: CCleaner, Winrar, Steam itself, etc.
I don't really know how Windows gets the install size, but i'm guessing it doesn't really scans the folder/ files to find out, more like the program has to tell Windows how big it is, and those simply don't.

EDIT: i was right, the program has to report it's size to Windows:
