Halloween Sale Free Items

At the beginning, when you released the Halloween Sale, you could collect the frame, avatar and the entire Steam profile (due to your mistake, you changed it after some time) and now it is paid... it's a pity that some people picked it up at the start and others don't have it. I suggest changing these items to free ones. Regards

Yeah I collected the full theme and the other animated avatar for free.

I think the reason those items in particular were reverted back to being paid is because they were paid prior to the Scream fest and some people bought them using their steam points and I guess rather than make those people feel bamboozled because they were not refunded, they made them paid once again.

Yeah, it was free for the first hour. And I agree. Either make it free and refund the majority or take it away from those who got it free. I got it for free. I don't like it. I wouldn't pay 1 point for the bundle. It's not Halloween themed at all.

1. It is Halloween themed.

2. It was their mistake and they should have kept them free out of courtesy.

3. Points shop items are worth zero monetary value. There is no funding anything.

There are many people saying collecting free stickers somehow funds steam. Just waiting for someone who knows about that.

In my opinion it's not. Their past themes are Halloween themed. No one thinks of a movie theater when they think of Halloween. Yeah, sure there's a skeleton, jack o'lantern and graveyard on the screen. But a rat with red eyes, popcorn, 3D glasses and whatever those other things are, doesn't exactly ring in the holidays. I see more people using their previous themes to celebrate Halloween. And they have the haunted theater in their inventory.

You say there's many people who say that but I've never seen anyone claim such a thing. How exactly would claiming free stickers fund Steam?
