Perhaps Deck compatibility is on its way(ask the devs)?
Meanwhile play it on your PC. Perhaps bug the devs to tune it for the Deck until they do.
Good luck.
That being said, you can try manual ticket:
Just keep in mind, that they have all rights to decline. You should have do your research before buying/trying to fix the game for over 2 hours.
i wasnt playing it on the SteamOS on steam deck. I have a windows 11 partition on the steam deck that i was playing it on so that indicator is useless to me. and besides that, the steam deck IS my PC. i dont have a gaming PC and a steam deck. i bought the steam deck because i dont have a PC and couldnt afford one, but also because of its mobility. I dont know if you understood the original problem i was having
thats kinda lame and doesnt really seem right. If you purchase any other product and something is broken you are within every right to return that product and get a refund. I exhausted all my options before deeming the game unplayable before requesting a refund and im being punished for that? That doesnt sit right with me. Imagine buying a TV and from the moment you open the box you have 2hrs to figure out why it wont turn on or connect to the internet or change channels and if you cant figure it out in that time then you're just screwed and stuck with a worthless paperweight.
How is trying to play it on windows 11 an unsupported OS. its literally the only OS listed there. You can clearly see it in the bottom left of the picture
Well, it's a standard policy with only GoG having 30 days. Every other store have 2 hours of playtime/14 days of owbership or worse version of it.
Also you agreed to it while creating account and with every purchase.
I guess so. I just find it absurd that i basically burned that money and have nothing to show for it. I cant even gift the thing to a friend who might be able to actually use it
the 2 and 2 are an auto system that simply checks if you are within those parameters
if you are you get a refund and if not it rejects it
if you do it "manually" a person will look at it and decide
be polite when describing the problem
it is a person and they are not involved in any way with the rules we all have to follow
It depends on where you live. In Australia, the EU etc, you need to submit a manual ticket and cite the relevant legislation. It's generally illegal for companies to tell users they're not entitled to a refund, but its -not- illegal to let them uesrs infer it by offering an automated system that doesn't comply with the legislation or by letting your horde of users argue it on your behalf.
The steam deck even if running windows 11 is going to have issues with the hardware and drivers that a windows 11 PC won't have
Not quite, it's not illegal to tell them they are not entitled to a refund when they go over the refund terms.
