Anti-hate speech laws vs the Flood of DEI Woke & SBI detected hate speech in every new games forum

Almost every new game is being spammed with flame bait troll threads with Woke DEI & SBI detected in the title. These threads always contain extreme sexism, racism, bigotry and hate speech. This gets reported but the sheer volume of it is hard to moderate.

I remember when the steam forums were about discussing the games and helping people with tech issues or the gameplay. Now most of new steam game forums are a flood of pure hatred and vitriol created by a brigade of zealots who seem to hate women & minorities.

Reporting it isn't enough. I have seen threads using the F word for LGBT people and calling Jewish people vermin as well as using racist stereotypes for minorities spammed across the forums and the users avoiding a ban. Seen users post the same vile bigotry multiply times and avoid a ban.

These posts often stay up a day or two before finally being removed or locked. Something more needs to be done to tackle this if the steam platform is to align with EU anti-hate speech laws.

The steam forums would be 100% better for EVERYONE be they women or minorities if any mention of DEI Woke or SBI resulted in the post being hidden or auto-moderated.

dei and woke are going to keep being talked about and brought up, until developers stop pushing dei and woke games, or changing games to support dei/woke agendas from those crappy consulting firms.

It doesn't. I've reported a lot of blatantly racist and anti-LGBT posts and comments and they're rarely, if ever, removed. Which leads me to believe the mods are also that way. If not, it's a tacit endorsement.

GamerGate won back in the day because we got gaming review sites to update their policies. They had to state if they where being paid by game companies or not. When that change was done, the movement was over and people went on with their lives. It was about Ethics in gaming journalism.
Mainstream Media though couldn't handle it and tried to revive Gamergate repeatedly over the years after it. With no success I might add. Even GamerGate2 didn't catch on.

Also after GamerGate majority of the gaming news sites started to do a lot worse. Some larger ones have been shut down.

Yeah the funniest thing about Gamergate though was the massive over reaction in response to it. All it was was gamers pointing out that game reviews were clearly being bought, and that feminist activist were sleeping with review staff for favors. And they flipped the hell out. Suddenly you had actual Mainstream News reporting that gamers were radicals, and they producted TV crima drama episodes on how gamers were rapist. Which most gamers just thought was hilarious. I think that probably annoyed them most of all. They threw everything they had at us, and we just thought it was funny. We won, and they never got over it.
