Hello,
I'm one of the developers of Boxing Babes. Steam rejected our game and deleted our profile page, leaving us no chance to fix whatever they believed made one of our characters appear underage. Our game also featured a 'Chat' feature on your cellphone, allowing you to interact with the girls, win them over, and earn selfies and videos. The platform also expressed concerns about using AI for adult content, even though OpenAI has restrictions in place.
Do you truly believe we would spend a year of our lives developing the game only to remove everything two weeks before release? Your claim that you spoke with the developers and lied about our response is inaccurate. What benefit would we gain from not releasing the game on Steam? Even if we were advertising the game as you suggest, why delete our profile and the wishlists of our potential customers?
You have no idea how challenging it is to be a developer in today's woke-infested platforms. I see games that glorify suicide and normalize rape, yet we were rejected for a trivial reason without being given a chance to rectify the issue.
In any case, we're exploring other platforms for PC release. Regarding Steam, we'll be releasing a simplified version of the game that focuses solely on boxing. There will be no chat feature, only a basic 'Flirt' mechanic to earn pictures and videos. We'll also remove the college girl character and find a new title since we can no longer use 'Boxing Babes.'"
If you believe we are Frauds you should be happy because they finally destroyed our game :)
You must have seen a gameplay of Boxing Babes I, that´s way too old. For boxing babes II we only published this trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgTeZXKVBCE
What does that have to do with this thread?
I only read OP...my comment was aimed at this part from OP:
Ah. Well, he was way over the top with his claims.
shado, that is still better than a lot of crap on Steam.
Anyway, have you managed to arrange selling of your game in other pc platforms? I searched the name boxing babes and only saw it on android. I don't like playing games on android so I hope you'll find some way to make a pc release eventually.
IT was never hidden in the first place though.
So, I'm not sure what you meant.
You're 100% correct. People like that are weird. "It doesn't affect me so that means it's not a problem for anyone else"
It was never unhidden in the first place, this isn't the same thread. The original got moved the the game discussion which got nuked along with the games removal. This is an entirely new thread made by someone entirely different.
