Some games are picky like that.
Do u have similar problem (app won't launch but just runs in background) before? what did u do to fix that?
after downloading the MSI afterburner and lowering my clocks (and making it start with windows so the clocks are kept lowered) i can now play without issues for hours before a crash
hopes that helps
I'm facing the exact same issue and can't figure it out what is the problem?
1. Open the Unity game
2. Open and play non-unity game (I can play non-unity game just fine).
3. If I play long enough, unity game will finally launch. Usually around 30 minutes to 2 hours of playing non-unity games.
It seems that the problem is really related to clocking. Playing non-unity game will triggered the launch of unity game after some time.
I found that running it in Compatability mode for "Visa Service Pack 2" fixed it for me.
And I am absolutely DISGUSTED by that, but it worked.
for me i overclocked my ♥♥♥♥ slightly and it works fine now. thx tho
THE WHAT? i cant play house flipper or phasmophobia, which was my whole purpose for installing steam again
