Achievement showcase: how it's even possible?

Games have probably been removed from the platform thus removing all achievement data.

Titles can get removed from Steam. Sometimes that removal includes those titles being disincluded from showcase counts.

When you unlock an achievement, the information is updated and any such changes to a game’s status will be reflected thereäfter.

i just 100% a game just now and my count didn't go up by one. Do you know if more games got banned?

Do you have any games that are Profile Limited? There is a glitch with the Showcases that, when you get a new Achievement, it will sometimes include all the Profile Limited games into your Achievement count. And then you get another Achievement, the glitch is resolved, and your Achievement number goes back down. I think it usually involves getting Achievements in freemium games.

Faded just got the achievements for The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. It is definitely not that.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is showing in your list of 120 Completed Games, though.

i have a game that updated and added more cheevos, which i was not aware of. My count is fine
