Why must anything be done? You can just ignore them. Or block the person. "Award farming", if that is even actually a thing, is 100% to blame on the people who are giving those awards. I would think that isn't so hard to understand, yet people seem to be very confused about it here.

Don't get baited. And use the block function, as far as I know you have THOUSANDS of spots on that list. Or even TENS OF THOUSANDS. And the usual culprits have nothing else going on you would WANT to see.

You don't need to blame anyone. Trolling has always been a thing, awards or not. And you don't even know if they are actually "rage-baiting". What do you suggest moderation would do exactly? People calling others trolls is a much bigger problem here than actual trolls.

The award systems have encouraged nonsense and ragebaiting for a long time now, but I feel like in the last couple of years the situation has reached a tipping point. The ragebaiting is polluting even smaller more niche game forums now.
