https://www.pacificu.edu/magazine/four-waves-feminism#:~:text=Whereas%20the%20first%20wave%20of,social%20class%20and%20coined%20phrases

Whereas the first wave of feminism was generally propelled by middle class, Western, cisgender, white women, the second phase drew in women of color and developing nations, seeking sisterhood and solidarity, claiming "Women's struggle is class struggle." Feminists spoke of women as a social class and coined phrases
It wasn't until 3rd and 4th wave feminism were trans women included in the movement really. That much should have been obvious?

That does not support your claim.

"Not included" != "excluded."

Try again.

The definition of exclude is to not include though? Include is literally an antonym of exclude.

Also, trans women weren't the only ones not allowed under the umbrella of first wave feminism. It was exclusively for cis-gender suburban white women. Second wave feminism finally included people of colour, but still excluded lesbians and others.

Wrong again.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/exclude
transitive verb
1
a
: to prevent or restrict the entrance of
b
: to bar from participation, consideration, or inclusion
2
: to expel or bar especially from a place or position previously occupied
excluder noun

To use an example, say there are 3 sibling, Larry, Curly, and Moe, and say they have a secret club house that is for siblings only

Larry and Curly go to the club house, while Moe decides to stay home. Little Timmy from down the street asks if he can go, and they tell him no, that it is for siblings only.

In that example scenario, Moe was not included, but Little Timmy was excluded.

Not included is not the opposite of included. Excluded is the opposite of included.

Hope this helps.
So, did we get an answer or has this just been an unrelated political debate?

Closest I found was this;

I don't see any games named Clanpool on SteamDB: https://steamdb.info/search/?a=all&q=clanpool

So the game didn't get very far through the review process if it was even submitted.

It is related. See:

Same reason people are getting banned for using official Shantae Avatars, that were approved and sold by Steam.

Steam previously said that they would only reject anything that was actually illegal, but now certain consultation groups have painted targets on anything with an anime visual style. And for whatever reason, Steam is actually listening to them.

Steam will currently allow games with actual pornographic material in it (like Balder's Gate 3) onto the store without forcing an adults only tag on it, but games with an Anime visual look to them are getting rejected outright or forced behind an adults only tag, which essential makes the game invisible to most people. And this is being applied to anime games with no nudity in them at all.

(snip)
That doesn't appear to be an official or other recognized logical reason and they approve anime-appearing stuff, so that appears highly inaccurate as a chance. Would appreciate a more direct answer not unrelated political stuff. :BL3Shrug:

Typically when I see these sorts of questions from OPs, the answer is because the Developer sexualized minors or depicted sexual motions/acts involving minors, which is disallowed. If it didn't make it past the review stage, it implies an actual reason to deny it from being sold on the store.

"Not X" and "the opposite of X" are two different concepts. My computer is not a dog, but my computer is not the opposite of a dog. Computer and dog are not antonyms.

Synonyms for "not included" include "excluded" according to the Thesaurus. So yeah, when I say antonym, I was really just trying to convey including "not" turns it into a synonym in this particular case. Some antonyms aren't necessarily synonyms when the prefix "not" is added. But "include" isn't one of them.

edit: proof that "exclude" and "not include" are synonyms

Synonyms have related meanings, not identical meanings. Someone not being invited to a party is different from someone being explicitly banned from a party.

“Too sexy” for Steam. Anime-style dungeon JRPG Tokyo Clanpool can now be wishlisted on GOG. Launches December 19th!

...so that answers that.

You're contradicting yourself.

Nudity in of itself is not pornographic.

Tokyo Clanpool AFAIk has multiple scenes where you "rub" your mostly naked team mates for energy and several of them have the appearance of being of a "questionable" age

So that is the most likely reason

I mean this sounds like it sums up quite well why Steam decided not to touch it. GoG isn't in the US but I don't blame Steam as a US company for not wanting to touch that.

Yet Steam hosts:
Furry Hitler
Sex with Hitler
Sex with Hitler 2
Sex with Hitler 2069

Etc.

And I am not kidding. Those are all games currently available on Steam.

And if the content was illegal, Nintendo would not allow it on the Nintendo Switch.

Yep, porn is one thing, porn with underage children is another thing....

You also really need to read. Never said it was illegal, just that Steam didn't want to touch it.
