Is there a way to check a games public refund history?

I saw a cropped photo showing veilguard having thousands of refund requests, is that a stat i can see somewhere? I am quite curious to check it for other games.

Regular users can't see the Steamworks Partner data, no.

Only the publisher has access to that information

What ever you saw was 10000% fake. There is no way anyone at EA disclosed that information. It’s easy to find other smaller devs that have screen shots of the Steamworks back end and then fake all the data to make it look like whatever narrative the faker wants

There is not even a way to know how many people bought a game (yeah...there are sites which give estimates based on public profiles and/or player data, but that is far from accurate), so how would one know the number of refunds?

But that is a good example to see how low those "people" go to manipulate others into believing the stuff they fanatically preach.

the image was fake, the image in question wasnt cropped, it was the steam stats for all refund requests on steam. Not 1 game ALL of steam

people were tricked into thinking vailguard had 300k refund requests lol

impossible for some, even when faced with the evidence, (link to the steam stats) they said it was just for 1 game

Assuming it's the same image I saw floating around, it's pulled from this page

So the numbers in the image is(/was) technically accurate, but the poster grossly misrepresented what it said. To get there, from the main Store page, hover your cursor over the Store menu option and then select Stats from the dropdown. Scroll down to the bottom where you'll see a link called Steam Customer Support Stats.
