Price of games in library
In the old steam there used to be an option to right click on your games and somewhere in would tell you how much you paid for it? I am definitely sure this used to exist. Does it still exist now?
I chose a game from my library (NFS Payback) checker properties and nothing could tell me when I purchased it or how much?

Library -> Select a game -> Store page -> Look at price

#edit

Oooh, I see

1. Click on Steam profile on top-right

2. Go to account details

3. Click "view licenses and product key activations"

4. Look for game

5. Check the date of purchase

6. Go to SteamDB (google it), check what price was of this game at the date of purchase

Here you go!

That only shows you what the price is at the moment you look at the store page, not what you might have paid for the game a year ago or whenever you bought it.

OP- Library Page for the game- click the "support" link, click "view receipt". It'll show you when you bought the game and what you paid for it.

Or you can go into your Account Details > Purchase History, and search for it (but that can be a real pain, especially if you have a lot of games).

Account Details -> View Purchase History is another way, but not so easy to find a specific game unless you remember about when you bought it. Or don't have a very large purchase history.

edit: ah, you can use your browser's Find function. But if it's a long list it's not all loaded at once.

Hmm, looks like my first official purchase was Torchlight for $9.99 in March 2010.

And that's what I get for carefully reading a whole thread before replying. :D

This should work for most purchases, but some from around 2007 and before won't show any purchase information -- Valve apparently lost this data years ago.

It says my first purchase was Metro 2033 in 2011. But I can't believe that to be true. My account has been created September 2006. I doubt it went without purchase for 5 years!

They must have moved it since. This worked. Thankyou for your help, I found the area where I can see my recent purchases and also see my licences
