Is Square Enix going to rerelease the Quintet Trilogy?
I see no reason for them to not release all 3 games as a package, $$$hit would sell like hotcakes.

I don't think they've announced anything yet, let's wait.

One could just send the company an email.

You and I both know something like that would just get sent to their spam just to be ignored lol.

Unlike the steam forums, I think them doing that would be bad for publicity.
Perhaps they have their own non-steam forums?(I haven't looked)

I'd be happiier if they released the entire Quintet Quadrilogy honestly.

Then again Squeenx has a bad habit of Squeenixing things up.

If you do get around to emailing them(or other means) and they respond, I'd like to know if they're open to the idea, even if its PC-only and NOT on Steam. But I know very little about these games so its better if you ask instead of me.

Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma and the likes? It would be nice to see these games.

I never played the former and I only played the latter once. It's been a long time, though. It was a RPG about building your own robot party members, I think. Looked fun.

But sure. Put all of them on steam. We should be able to play these (again). I think a lot of games should be brought back to life. I would kill to see PS1 and 2 games. x.x

It was fun. and Soul Blazer is considered to be the first part of the Unofficial Trilloggy which is Soul Blazer --> Illusion of Gaia --> Terranigma

Not a trilogy as in an inter connected story but more just different variations and refinements on the same Themes/Metaphors/Motifs. You could essentially see the first two as early drafts of the last game realy.

Robotrek. Was it's own highly inventive and surpriisngly entertaining thing. A bit more light hearted.

Fun. And yeah, Terranigma was quite the... experience. I don't remember it much but it had big Gaia vibes without being Gaia, see what I mean? (And I don't mean that just because it used the same UI or system). It really had its own thing without being it.

It's an experience I'd probably try to enjoy again if it came to release on steam. But while it's not likely, I would not say "never" as anything seems possible these days. The 4th game is another I would not mind trying again, just to get a feel of it once more.

Never tried robotrek before and never knew it was considered part of the mainline series. If I had to rank the games due to my personal tastes it would be the following.

Soul Blazer>Illusion of Gaia>>>Terranigma.

I tried soo hard to stick with Terranigma but sadly it just couldn't keep my interest even though I believe I made it 70% through the game it just wasn't for me.

It's a respectable opinion. I felt weird with Terranigma too. Some would say it's a master piece. Nowadays, I dunno and I'd need to play it again to figure it out. I remember it being a bit slow but the charm of Illusion of gaia to it did a lot for it, I think.
