Why would anyone take my non-tangible licenses to begin with? Since 2011, I haven't lost ONE of them. And that's with some of them no longer being available for purchase. Also, physical copies don't last forever. My copy of Command & Conquer: The first decade is no longer usable. But all my digitally purchased games work as if bought day 1. The pool of games I can pick from is immeasurably larger than it was while it was physical discs only. I don't live in a 1st world country where every game you can imagine was sold in stores. I never would have gotten a chance to play over 99% of my library if it wasn't for digital distribution. So MY situation has actually improved vastly.
Almost as moronic as buying something you don't own and even the government agrees is manipulative. Or is it moronic to put self-interest first?
Again, I am glad you did. Losing self-interest is a big price to pay though and things can go south very quickly.
I can read. And I did.
No manipulation involved.
You guys just sign contracts blindfolded then act like everybody else is the problem.
There are far worse things that can happen than losing a couple hundred game licenses. Gaming is a very affordable hobby, even if you live on the Balkan peninsula, a pretty poor area of Europe. As someone who lives in that dump of a region, I know first-hand that there are a lot worse things than losing your video games.
Not manipulative... very very manipulative. Even now the message is the bare minimum of what they had to do.
I am hoping this post was a joke because it sounds senseless.
Gladly the government didn't agree with you. Have a great day.
Not a joke. I am just not emotionally attached to possessions.
-You buy a pack of peanuts with a disclaimer that peanuts are inside.
This is the level of government involvement you got. Basically, an attempt to protect foolish people from themselves.
LOL! You have a good day too.
Say you don't know what "lease" means without saying you don't know what lease means.
edit: and if I felt like it, I could type in the Software License Agreement from the back of my old 90s/00s manuals for Marathon Infinity (Bungie) and Diablo 2. Software licenses are nothing new.
Literally nothing changed.
