The Autumn sale (black friday and cyber monday) starts later today. But a quick search and browse of the forums would have shown that to you as well.

No, the autumn seasonal sale does. If games wanted to go on sale on black friday, they were free to do that. I picked up Wobbledogs, which was on sale on black friday, for example.
