This process will remove Steam and any installed game content from your machine. If reinstalling Steam and Steam games in the near future, please move the steamapps folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps) outside of the Steam directory to prevent your games from being deleted. Additionally, backups of all game content can be created for reinstallation.

i can be mistaken, but i think it will uninstall everything. to be on safe side, best to move the games to a different folder before uninstalling steam

You could select all installed games in your library, right click on them and click uninstall. Should work, I think.

Correct. If your games are in the default library inside your Steam folder they'll be deleted if you uninstall Steam

AFAIK libraries on different folders shouldn't be affected. But I've never personally tried.

Partly. It depends on what you plan to do.

All game-related data remains on your system partition, including residual files from Steam. This may encompass crash dumps, save files, logs, CEF files and other related data. To ensure a thorough cleanup, examine the AppData folder (Local, LocalLow, Roaming) as well as the Documents, Saved Games and My Games directories for any leftover files.
