Steam not remembering my Wishlist settings
I like my wishlist compact and sorted by price. But now every time I start Steam and go to wishlist it opens with Expanded view and sorted by rank. How do I get Steam to remember my preference? It worked perfectly until a few days ago!

*bump

I just reported this too - but had to go through their rats' maze to find any way to contact support. I also like compact vs expanded and prefer my rank over the screwball sorting they use.

Same for me as well. It's been like this for a week now where it keeps resetting the wishlist setting. Hopefully they'll push out an update to make it right.

yup, the default large cards are too much with nearly 200 games on the list.

Same problem. Also the new compact view is too big on my phone screen. Old compact view is so much better and fast.

Exact same problem for me. Also the language for the wishlist is wrong too (my whole account is in french, but the wishlist for whatever reason is in english. It's not a problem but definitely a bug too).

Didn't they update the wishlist recently or something ? I guess it's broken since.

This bug is soooo annoying. Right between the heaviest sales period too.

Also...

It's amazing to me that Valve thinks we want to have those huge (yuge) title cards. I mean compact to me feels like what the default size should be. Wish we could have an actual compact size where my entire wishlist is a grid. I don't even have that many items there. People with hundreds of games in their wishlist must scroll for hours!

Totally agree. I've been on Steam for over a decade and I much preferred the older wishlist system they had previously, which was even more compact than the current compact one.

It also shows release dates in mm/dd/yyyy format now for some reason.
Steam keeps adding the same games over and over for me that are either not available or have a wishlist date of 2028.

That was their response... yep. Useful as ever.
