There's also a time and a place, and a discussion board about videogames and a gaming platform 99% of the time is neither of those.
Best to keep the platform about gaming as much as possible. People can signal their side of a conflict on other sites.
If they really wanted that, they're failing miserably. This guys non-hateful avatar got removed but this post here ( https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/4625854789815652112/ ) has continued despite multiple reports. If the Russians can post actual propaganda freely, the OP has every right to use that avatar and should be contacting Support to get the ban lifted and restore their avatar.
EDIT: They finally removed it. Took them long enough or they didn't like being called out in last report.
Ukraine and Russia is at war. You should have kept your profile and pictures private. There's no "Russian bots" here at steam. It users expressing their anger against Ukraine considering the fact both of those nations at war.
The only thing you can do is make an alternate account for community forums only and leave your main for gaming only. Support is report based, so.. unfortunately you got report spammed by other users.
