3 games vanished from my library.

Hey,

I check my Steam mobile app every day for news and stuff. So every time I do that, I see the number of games in my library.

Today I saw that I had lost 3 games. No idea why.

I don't know which games they were since I have so many it would be impossible to check for each one.

I immediately thought of HL2 Episode 1 & 2 and Lost Coast, since those have been moved to "tools" instead of "games", but it started this morning and the switch happened much earlier.

Anybody know what could have happened?

It could've been games whose developer has been kicked off of Steam, so the games wouldn't count towards your total anymore.

That's probably it yes.

I wish I knew what game it was though. They should send a notification or an e-mail when that happens.

Well they are not "lost" they just don't count towards your total games anymore. You still own them. I wouldn't call that a big deal.

Exact same thing happened to me. My library is too large to figure out which 3 they are and I would love to know so I can categorize them as no longer available on the client side.

After some digging, I found out the reason for the 3 missing games. The Half-Life 2 expansions got moved from games to tools.
