Steam not remembering me?
Lately every other purchase or so, It keeps telling me to log in, which I then have to open my email to input a code. It's a hassle, and I'm so over it, so why does the "remember me" checkbox not seem to work?

I assume that you make purchases throught the website? If so then just do them on the client or the mbile app, which you should have to turn on steam guard for maximum security.
Sorry friend, that is incorrect, I only do any steam related thing though the client on my personal com. I haven't altered anything, and its only been going on for ... about the past week I think.

I see. in that case I sadly don't have any advice or solutions.
I have proof pics, Steam personnel, if y'all want it. I don't think I can put it here though.
it's to ensure that it's you making the purchase, i get this every time i purchase something via the website but not the steam client or mobile app.

They won’t reply to you here, you’d have to contact support if you want a response directly from them.
1) You are forced to log in for every single purchase? Yikes, I feel real bad for you friend.

2)*whining* But waiting on steam to contact me and figure the issue out/fix it could take forever!!!!

lol jk you are probably right, I should have thought of that. I'll update if they decide to do anything about this mess.
OH! I completely forgot, there's no actual way to contact the steam/valve peoples. Just silly "I have this specific problem" suggestions -.- They do not have a clickable blue link for my specific problem. Womp Womp

You just gotta go through the supportpage, there are ways to contact them. I remember one category has it at the very bottom (maybe account related issue), below like 50 other things that come up first. Just scroll a bit.
This sounds like sanity saving knowledge, I'll take a peek, thanks!
I did find a means to contact them! Fingers crossed it was the right ... channel? Page? whatever. You were right. I had to search for "account" which brought up "account data" and at the very bottom there was an option to uh ... file a complaint I guess? lol
What did you buy and why did you wanna buy it!
It's been several purchases actually, consisting of multiple games each time. Not too sure which you are asking about/why.

Since Halloween, every / every other purchase I've made though the client has prompted me to login in, while I am already logged in. It sends a confirmation email despite me getting my own log in info correct, and asks for a 5 digit code. Every. Single. Time. It is driving me bonkers. If I am already logged in, why do I need to keep logging in? Is there any way to remedy this, preferably before I lose my remaining marbles?

Hello,

This typically is caused by cookies not being enabled on your system. Anti Virus software can also prevent Steam Guard settings from being saved on your system.

Please follow this FAQ for more information.

That sounds like an internet thing. I do not ever open Steam though my internet, I only ever use the app Icon on my taskbar. I've made no adjustments of any sort, on any of my computers settings, so it's quite odd that this is happening all of a sudden. Would anti virus softwear suddenly affect my steam client? Where would I find cookies, to enable them, in the client?

Kinda feeling like they called me a dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, then gave me the boot. Maybe I am, but I can't gitgudscrub without knowing what I'm supposed to know. Just wanted to update in case anyone else had an issue like mine, and maybe in the future someone can add something more helpful. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
