Hello friends, I have a Steam Deck, and since it has limited SSD storage, I found a solution to store data on my network using a Linux NFS share. However, I'm facing an issue where the preallocation takes an extremely long time. In fact, the preallocation process takes longer than the installation itself. For example, the preallocation for a 20 GB game takes over an hour, while the installation only takes about 6 minutes. I'm aware of the purpose of this preallocation. it makes sure there is enough free blocks on the ssd or hard disk. but for people who are sure they have enough space, its just time waste. any way to turn this off? thanks in advance
