WRONG GAMES UNDER "IMMERSIVE SIM" CATEGORY (2024)

Hello everyone, I hope I post this threat under the correct section. The main idea is this - 99% of the games that appear under the "Immersive Sim" Category Genre have nothing to do with the genre: Car Sales simulator, Sex Romance, Truck Simulators, Farming Simulator, NBA2k24 - WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ??? NBA2K24 ??? SEX ROMANCE ??? Are you kidding me ?Where is Deus Ex, Dishonored, System Shock, Prey and other games ? How on earth am I supposed to discover whether there are new releasing immersive sim games when almost every game under this genre is wrong title ? I know thanks to YouTube that recently a new immersive sim game released, it's called Groomwood, and guess what, it's absurdly hard to find it under tons of wrong titles within the category in issue. It's like me going to a gaming shop, asking for Hack&Slash games and explaining that I'm new to genre, and instead of offering me games that defined the genre like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, God of War, Ninja Gaiden, the seller offers me Sims4 or Goat Simulator >:( Immersive Sim genre is already a niche one, and somehow, Steam Category makes it even worse by damaging the understanding and reputation of it. Any ideas what can be done ? How Valve can solve this ?

Meaning games that try to immerse you by simulating real life sports,jobs,crafts and so on.
NONE of the games you listed would fall under that genre.

I think you have the wrong idea for what Immersive Sim stands and its not what you think.
Valve is not wrong here, you are.

I'm wondering what the threat is, unless it's hurting your eyes from staring at a wall of text.

If you know the name of a game there is this search box at the top of the store where you can find a game with ease.
